Pillows - to take pillow talk to the next level
Our designers are particularly good at one thing: turning high-quality materials into products that make your home that little bit more homely. Decorate your favourite armchair, sofa or reading corner with cushions that emphasise your style or deliberately add colour accents.
A breath of fresh air for the living room - cushions from Scandinavia
Sometimes it doesn't take much to give a room a new look and some pep. Eye-catching or simple designer cushions on the sofa or armchair are sometimes enough. We at KONTOR 1710 have looked around the world to find the most beautiful decorative cushions for you and have found them in Scandinavia: at the Skriver Collection, by lassen, Sen-Sen, Kajsa Cramer and care by me.
care by me - sofa cushions from the roof of the world
care by me has made a name for itself with the production of high-quality home accessories made of cashmere and wool. Their beautiful couch cushions now adorn sofas all over the world. The covers are still traditionally knitted in Nepal on old looms without electricity and sewn by hand. Another kind of fabric that you can relax with is hard to find, anywhere in the world. On long, chilly evenings, why not grab a book and a hot cup of tea, snuggle up on the sofa, light a candle and relax.
Skriver Collection - cushions made for couches, both indoors and outdoors
High-quality textiles for indoors and outdoors - this is what Danish designer Jane Skriver has focused on. Her cushions for decorating, snuggling up and sitting on surprise with ever changing shapes and designs - unusual 70s gyroscopes that she captures in rectangles, radiant shades on velvet and cotton or restrained Nordic colours on cotton and linen. In KONTOR 1710's outdoor department, you will find cushions that also dress up your terrace or balcony. Thanks to a special coating, they are non-fading, anti-bacterial and well protected against light rain, pollen or a tipped-over soda glass. The seat cubes by Jane Skriver also make it possible to perfectly combine cushions and stools or a small table.
Sen-Sen - decorative cushions fight boredom
Wide geometric lines and a colourful variety of colours - the designer duo Sen-Sen swear by this mixture and see their designs as an ingenious remedy against boring life. In an exclusive edition, they have turned every ball of merino wool they could get their hands on into limited collector's items that look extraordinarily good as cushions or as blankets and magically conjure up a good mood in your room.
Kajsa Cramer - East meets West
Swedish designer Kajsa Cramer has discovered a touch of Asia for herself. She was inspired and supported by Emma von Brömssen, who has already been named "Star of the Year" by Elle for her designs. The secret of her cushion designs lies in the link between Cramer's philosophy of the Swedish "imperfect" and Brömssen's Asian link to bliss. Here she captures all the creatures of the sea on canvas, which in Japan are regarded as signs of luck and guarantees the perfect balance between ying and yang.
